As per NMC Guidelines (Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2025), candidates with DNB / DNB Super Specialty are eligible for the post of Senior Resident / Tutor.
Candidates must have a Postgraduate Degree in the concerned specialty.
In case of a shortage of eligible candidates, Diploma holders in the relevant field may also be considered (with lower preference).
For Non-Medical (Biochemistry): Candidates must have M.Sc + Ph.D. in the relevant subject.

40% posts – Bihar State Health Service cadre
40% posts – Candidates with PG Degree (Residency Scheme) from State Medical Colleges
20% posts – Candidates with PG Degree from recognized institutions outside the state.
