Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has Officially Released Answer Key for the B.Ed. Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (CET) 2026. This entrance test is for admission to the two-year B.Ed. course (Academic Session 2026-28) across all Government, Government-aided, Unaided, Self-financed, and Private recognized B.Ed. institutions. Payment Details: Pay the Exam Fee Through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking Fee Mode Only.
Candidates with at least 50% marks (or 45% in the case of SC/ST/OBC, PwD, and other reserved categories) either in their Bachelor's Degree and/or in their Master's Degree in Science / Social Science / Humanities / Commerce, OR Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics securing 55% marks (or 50% in the case of SC/ST/OBC, PwD, and other reserved categories), or any other equivalent qualification, are eligible for consideration for admission to B.Ed. / M.Ed. / B.P.Ed. courses. For admission to M.Ed., the minimum qualification shall be B.Ed.
The candidate shall choose only one subject (within a subject category) which they must have studied in the qualifying degree (i.e., Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree). In this subject, they must have secured at least 50% marks out of a minimum of 200 marks. This subject will henceforth be referred to as the teaching subject in the B.Ed. / M.Ed. / B.P.Ed. course.
There is no restriction on the passing year for applying to the B.Ed. / M.Ed. / B.P.Ed. course.
Students in the final year of their Bachelor's / Master's programme shall also be eligible to apply for B.Ed. admission. However, their candidature shall be subject to the submission of the final result at the time of admission and meeting the percentage marks criteria mentioned in clause 1 above.
