SSC Stenographer Final Selection 2025-26
The final allocation was completed after the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) and the Sliding/Identity Verification (IV) process. The physical Sliding process was conducted at the SSC Regional Offices on 11th and 12th August. Candidates who did not attend the process were treated as absent and were not considered for the final allocation. The allocation details are:

SSC Stenographer Final Result: Department Allocation
After the SSC Steno final result 2025-26, selected candidates will be allocated to different government departments and ministries. The allocation is based on the candidate’s merit, post preference and the option selected during the sliding process. The final department allotted to each candidate is given in the official result PDF.
- The Grade ‘C’ allocation includes departments such as the Central Administrative Tribunal, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, Election Commission of India, Ministry of Defence, Central Vigilance Commission, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Ministry of Jal Shakti and Ministry of Culture.

What After SSC Stenographer Final Result 2025-26?
Candidates who have been selected for appointment will now have to complete the Document Verification (DV) and other appointment formalities. Candidates will be required to submit the necessary educational, category and other documents. The final appointment will be done once verification of eligibility and documents is over. SSC has made it clear that the final selection is provisional. The Commission will not handle the DV and appointment process after candidates are allocated to their respective departments.

SSC has also released the result of the Grade ‘C’ Stenographers Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2025. The Computer Based Examination was held on 4th July.
